Total spent this weekend: $513.55

Champagne kisses, hold me in your lap of luxury
I only want to fly first-class desires, you're my limousine
So eloquent, the way we ride, our passion, it just multiplies
There's platinum lightning in the sky
Look I'm livin' like a queen

Working so hard, every night and day
And now we get the pay back
Trying so hard, saving up the paper
Now we get to lay back
Working so hard, every night and day
And now we get the pay back, the pay back, the pay back. “Luxurious” by Gwen Stefani

Friday, April 5.

After a busy week for the both of us, me and Nick were super excited to do date night at home. It was my turn to cook, so I picked up dinner items on Wednesday. I had a photoshoot earlier that day in the Half Moon Bay area with my photographer & makeup artist team, so I prepared a dinner that was tasty yet easy and quick to whip up.

Dinner: crab cakes served on top of sauteed mushrooms with roasted broccoli, with a side of curried quinoa with seaweed. It all sounds super fancy, but it literally took me less than twenty minutes to prep and serve it.

Saturday, April 6.

Today, I was hosting an event with the Walnut Creek Socialites so Nick and I took the morning easy. We lounged around before heading to Danville for the Socialites’ shopping party at Stone Cold Luxe. A woman owned, lifestyle boutique.

We had a fabulous turnout of shoppers. I love how Money & Mimosas supports women to boost their confidence and bank accounts. Money is energy and it is meant to flow between all of us.

After the party, Nick picked me up and we headed to Alchemy Bottle shop for their 5th anniversary rum tasting party. If you live in the Bay Area and like alcohol, you have to check out this spot. They have an incredible selection of independently owned spirits, a beautifully designed store that resembles an art gallery and lovely people that work there. We ended up purchasing a delicious Denizen rum and banana liqueur.

Once we got home, we made two fun Mai Tai inspired drinks with our new treasure finds and Nick made delicious tacos to go with our cocktails.

After tacos and drinks, we headed to a comedy show in Jack London Square in Oakland.

The show was free and put on by Craft Comedy Oakland at Federation Brewing. It was awesome! My favorite comedians were the opener (Justin), Frankie and Chris (the headliner).

The show ended just before midnight, so we headed home afterwards.

Sunday, April 7.

Today was so fun! Every month the Socialites get together to hang out, and this month we met up at Rootstock - a wine bar in Los Gatos- for a photoshoot, drinks and snacks. Anyone who knows me, knows that I hate driving so I took the Amtrak train down to San Jose, then grabbed a Lyft to meet the girls at Rootstock.

After drinks with the girls, Nick met up with me for gelato at Dolce Spazio. Then, we grabbed a quick bite for him to eat at before heading home for the evening.
