Every week, I share how much money I spent and then set an intention for the following week.
Welcome to my money diary…
This Week’s Spending
This week I spent $2,297.66 on my lifestyle.
This Week’s Money Diary
This week is my last full week as a 31-year old. My birthday is on April 20 - woop woop- and Nick is whisking me off to a surprise place. I’m so lucky <<insert giddy giggles>>.
This week also marks the 10-year anniversary of the first business I incorporated. It was a clothing company. Specifically activewear for professional dancers and cheerleaders in the NBA and NFL. I learned so much from that experience and am so happy that I am still an entrepreneur and have made so.much.progress since then.
For example, the amount of money I spent this week, was equal to my take-home pay in a month 10 years ago. WOW. This is one of the important lessons about doing a money date - it’s easy to also focus on more. Striving to reach the next goal. But, if we don’t take the time to honor our progress and celebrate our wins, then we will never be happy. We may make a lot of money, but we will never FEEL RICH. Being rich comes from the inside - it’s about having wealth and wellness. Showing yourself love as you hustle that booty.
Earlier this month, I reflected on my 21-year old self and sent her the love that she needed at the time. Because, at the time, I was not equipped with the tools to give it to her. I wrote her this note and gave her a hug.
It was very healing to give my younger self the attention she was yearning for and to let her know that she is safe with me, as her future self.
This week, I am writing a love note to my future self. Ten years from now, I want my future self to know I loved her so much that I took the steps today to give her what she needs to feel safe, loved, supported aka rich, sexy and confident.
Here is my note to her:
WOW!! Congratulations on the last 10 years. Can you believe all that you’ve achieved? Of course you can, because you are a manifesting queen. But, even this was beyond your wildest dreams. The cover of Forbes, Maxim and Sports Illustrated. A billion-dollar profitable lifestyle brand. A solid team working for you. Investment properties with Nick. Oooo, and you finally convinced him to get you a puppy- awwwww. You look sexier, and are healthier, than ever! And…and…and….
As your younger self, I want you to know that I am so proud of you. I know you don’t, and likely won’t, hear that often from those closest to you and that’s why you are the best cheerleader. To yourself and to others. You are a radiant, sparkling being and attract only great stuff to you.
In case you forgot, because you do sometimes, here are some points I want you to remember:
To my future self in 2029
Self-love is the best love. It is not your job to fix people, or even to help them, loving yourself fully and deeply is the best gift you can give.
Indulge in life’s little pleasures every chance you get.
Don’t cancel your mani-pedi appointments when something comes up. You always regret it later.
Your crown has been bought and paid for. Rock that shit. Unapologetically. Otherwise Grandma Mary and Winifred will come out of their graves and slap some sense into you.
Remember when you thought making $2.4 million in a year was a big deal? Hehe. GIRL. You don’t even know.
You are beautiful and everybody loves you. They do - I promise.
You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone. All you have to do is BE rich, sexy and confident.
I am so excited to see what unfolds over the next ten years. This week has proven to me that I have done the inner work - the not so glamorous work- that is required to becoming clear on what I want.
Now that I am clear, and have a treasure chest of manifestation tools, I am effortlessly manifesting magic all over the place. And WOW, this week was full of delightful, sparkly, magic everywhere.
It began with a Sunday brunch date with some of the Walnut Creek Socialites. We met up for lunch and wine in Los Gatos. Then did a photoshoot with Samantha, an incredible photographer who is still in high school.
On Tuesday, I flew out to Scottsdale with my gal pals Femily and Maggie for a biz sesh date with Bizzie Gold. On my Lyft ride there, my driver shared with me that he’s working through his money limiting beliefs. We talked about the goddess Lakshmi and he introduced me to a shaman that helps us release the poor money stories that our ancestors passed down to us. I can’t wait to share more with you about that conversation!
If the week couldn’t get any better, I also went on a private jet for the first time ever! On Monday of this week, I saw an ad about a private jet and thought to myself “oh, that would be so fun to be in a private jet.”
Literally three hours later, I get an email from a photographer asking me to be a paid model in a lifestyle ad in a private jet. WHAT. YES.
It turns out that this jet is owned by one of the owners of a NFL team. This type of jet is the same one that Bill Gates and Oprah fly in - squeeeeeeeee!
My Intention for Next Week
To indulge in all the beauty treatments I have scheduled! I have a 24k gold oil treatment/body wrap/body scrub thingy thing at a Korean Day Spa before going on my birthday celebration vacation with Nick. I am so excited to soak in all of the love before my 32nd birthday. I’ll be sure to share it with you. Thank you for reading, my friend!
