Money Date: 3/29/2019

Hi friends!

If you’ve been reading Money & Mimosas for a while, you know that I encourage everyone to do a weekly money date, which includes treating yourself to a mimosa over the weekend with your girlfriends. If this is your first time learning about the Money & Mimosas date, click here to learn more.

Every week, I share how much money I spent and then set an intention for the following week.

Welcome to my money diary…

This Week’s Money Diary

This week I really didn’t spend much. As I shared in my last money date, this week was devoted to CREATION, so I was busy creating content (writing articles, recording videos), doing research, scheduling meetings, and booking speaking gigs. I’m excited that I booked TWO financial wellness workshops at two medium-sized companies.

Since it is the last Friday of the month, I pay off my credit card bill. As you can see, I don’t really use my credit card. As a couple, we have a Southwest credit card that we use when we go out. What works for us, is for me to pay Nick as we use it and Nick pays it off with a bulk payment at the end of the month.

That’s our same process with rent. I transfer my half to Nick on the last Friday of the month and he makes the bulk payment for us.

A BIG win for me this week, that you don’t see listed above, is that this is the first week that I paid out bonuses to the Socialites. The Socialites are the official brand ambassadors for Money & Mimosas. In addition to a flat rate payment, they also earn bonuses when they have sales for Money & Mimosas.

I am very proud of myself for continuing to grow as an entrepreneur and building out a unique sales team of women who are loving, savvy, beautiful. AND rich, sexy, and confident which is what Money & Mimosas is all about.

My Intention for Next Week

Next week is the beginning of April - my birthday month and financial literacy month. My intention is to reflect on the first quarter, continue to create more content, refine my corporate financial wellness trainings and attract awesome guests to our upcoming events on April 6 and 14. If you live in the Bay Area, you can check out this link for more info on our events. Cheers to an awesome week!
