If you’ve been reading Money & Mimosas for a while, you know that I encourage everyone to do a weekly money date, which includes treating yourself to a mimosa over the weekend with your girlfriends. If this is your first time learning about the Money & Mimosas date, click here to learn more.
Every week, I share how much money I spent and then set an intention for the following week.
Welcome to my money diary…
This Week’s Spending
This week I spent $1,288.52 on my lifestyle. This is higher than average because I had hair extensions put in for upcoming photoshoots and speaking engagements.
This Week’s Money Diary
Hmmm, something about spending $152.04 on Lyft doesn’t sit well with me. That would be $600 a month if I did this every week. Especially now that we have a car (I haven’t owned one for 10 years!), I need to re-evaluate my transportation choices. On the other hand, I hate with every bone in my body, trying to find a parking space which makes Lyft soooo convenient. And I’m also supporting someone else’ side hustle. Soooo many things to consider. I’ve made a mental note to assess my Lyft charges at the end of this month, and then decide how I feel about my Lyft costs.
Other than that, this week’s spending was great. I would like to start getting a weekly massage. Maybe I’ll start doing that next month- my birthday month. YAY.
Overall, I was really happy about this week. I hosted a SUPER successful event in Oakland with Femily Howe. It sold-out and the energy in the room was electric! That night was the full supermoon and the spring equinox, presenting a magical opportunity for me to manifest my wildest dreams.
I am so proud of myself for continuing to show up everyday to do the work. I’ve created the life I dreamed about as a little girl. And there are so many opportunities that continue to fall into my life.
Like doing a photoshoot this week for an all-natural health company. I can’t wait to share what we are working on!
And as I’m writing my diary, I’m sitting in gorgeous Tahoe. Me and Nick drove up here for a long weekend together. We are so lucky to be able to take time to do what we love, and be with each other.
I could squeal with delight at how everything in my life has fallen into place. I am in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing. And I am loving my exposure to this life.
My Intention for Next Week
This full moon revealed to me that it is time to CREATE, CREATE, CREATE. Therefore, my intention for next week is to start taking action on super fun projects that I’ve created. I can’t wait to share them with you. Stay tuned!
