May 2019 Full Moon Invitation:
This full moon is calling us to spread our net wide and establish new business and financial partnerships. Your heart-centered dreams and desires are best realized when you find a group of like-minded folks that believe in your highest visions.
One of my dreams was to host a women’s conference for CPAs. In October of 2015, I sent this note to a CPA in my area, as I brainstormed how to make it make it happen.
Who would have thought that less than four years later, I would partner with the Ohio Society of CPAs to moderate and design the Women, Wealth and Wellness Conference in June of this year?!
We have over 160 tickets sold, sponsors and an incredible agenda featuring experts that will lead us through business and mindfulness practices, and drinking mimosas (duh).
When I first dreamed of this concept, my vision was to spearhead it alone. Which was fine! But, the reality has turned out to be way more beautiful with a partnership of like-minded individuals who are also passionate about integrating wealth and wellness.
As I reflect on this manifestation and my energy healing last week, I am awestruck by the wonder of partnerships.
Together we are so much stronger and wiser, than we could ever be as individuals. Of course we are all badasses in our own right and can get a lot done by ourselves, but the fact is that our impact is 1000X greater if we team together.
With this full moon, I feel the invitation to plant more partnership seeds. Purposeful partnerships. Purposeful meaning intentional, conscious, deliberate. Not everyone is a worthwhile partner - and that is OK. As we sift through various relationships, situations, experiences, circumstances, we will find what works best for us.
Here are some actionable, and logistical, steps to take during this full moon’s energy to create and nurture your purposeful partnerships:
Open your heart chakra. One of the gifts that my energy healer gives to me are exercises to invite more love into my life. It all begins with being open to receiving love and leading with your heart - versus your mind. It will be tempting to strategize the heck out of building partnerships, but you have to trust the flow and lead with your heart. Keep reading for exercises on how to nurture your heart chakra.
Surround yourself with the color green. This includes the food you eat such as green apples and kale.
Heart opening exercises. Practice chest opening exercises, especially dance isolation movements with your ribs.
Every morning, ground yourself in a self-love meditation. I am a fan of this Louise Hay’s morning meditation to attract health, happiness, prosperity and love.
Gain clarity on the types of partners you want to attract. Will these partners help you boost your social media following? Help you gain more clients? Hire you directly? While they can certainly do all three, it is best to have a singular intention to focus your efforts.
Make a list of potential partners. Choose a particular industry of partners that you want to establish relationships with. Make a spreadsheet and keep track of your outreach to them and the correspondence between the two of you.
Step up your game and be the kind of partner someone wants to work with. What do you offer and how can you be the kind of person that someone else would want to collaborate with? Remember, you attract like-minded and like-performing folks. So, get out there and PERFORM.
