How To Harness The Power Of The Full Moon To Attract Money

I first started incorporating astrology into my relationship with money in late 2015. Vaguely, I remember stumbling across information connecting abundance with the energy of the full moon, and it deeply resonated with me.

My first year of integrating the energy of the New and Full moon into my money rituals was fairly simplistic. On the night of the New Moon, I would journal an intention around planting new seeds. These seeds could be discipline, focus, or manifesting money quickly. On the night of the Full Moon, I would journal an intention around releasing anything that no longer served me. This could be relationships, poor money habits, or lack of clarity.

Setting Your Intention

Sometimes the intention setting would yield tangible results quickly. However, often the physical manifestations would not appear until later - this was especially the case if I was hyper-focused on the goal. Once I released the intention I set and shifted my focus to how I wanted to feel, then the seed I had planted would start to sprout in a physical form. Auspiciously, whenever I set an intention centered around my BEingness - such as heightened clarity rather than manifesting $10,000 in 30 days - the manifestation would occur almost immediately. Naturally, the $10,000 would appear, but only as a result of my clarity of mind and purpose.

Over the years, I have honed my ability to harness the energy of the New and Full Moon. This ability went to another level in 2020 when I started diving deeper into the energies of the other planetary bodies. Chani Nicholas’ book, “You Were Born For This”, appeared in my life and it added another dimension to my growing astrological connection. Her book is known as astrology for radical self-acceptance and I highly recommend diving into the wisdom she bestows upon her readers. Combining her teachings with my previously attained knowledge and Divine-given intuition, I have further refined my gift of communicating how the energy of the cosmos impact the flow of money within an individual’s life and in the collective experience.

Astrology and Money Mysticism

While I will never claim that I am a professional astrologer, I do have a sixth sense connection with money and have been gifted with a deep inner knowing of how money relates to Western astrology. I dive more into these metaphysical teachings in my Money Mystics program. I have tested these practices in my own life and like a scientist, have carefully observed how my theories play out in the as above. Please note that I am not calling myself a scientist, nor am I positing that there is an exact science to my money mystical philosophy. As a money mystic, I test my theories similar to how a scientist will test her hypothesis. And like a scientist, I remain open to my understanding of my field of work to shift and evolve when new information is presented.

Working with the moon’s energy to manifest earthly riches aka money includes understanding your natal chart and deeply knowing thyself. The latter is self-awareness while the former is self-knowledge. Self-awareness can be attained without self-knowledge, but not the other way around. In my experience, self-awareness will get you very far. Self-knowledge will deepen your conviction and confidence as you pursue your path of financial freedom. Self-mastery is the final aspect of this trinity. When you possess all three, self-awareness, self-knowledge, and self-mastery, money flows to you like honey on a warm summer day.

How the full moon can help you attract money

The full moon’s energy supports you in releasing anything that is no longer serving you. When it comes to prosperity, this release will clear up any money blocks preventing you from experiencing the next level of abundance in your life. Releasing blocks requires deep introspection and radical honesty. This is because the most effective releases are the aspects of yourself that often hide in your subconscious or unconscious.

For example, let’s say the full moon is in Gemini. Gemini represents duality and involves integrating our light and shadow selves. After a deep reflection, you sense that you need to release the codependency present in your relationship with your mom. You like to believe that the relationship with your mom is close, loving, and supportive. But, a vision passes over your mind’s eye revealing to you that your mom is envious of the life you’re leading. She’s never explicitly said this, but her tone when you shared your new exercise goals was not entirely supportive. You brushed it off, but during your moon meditation, the uncomfortable feeling washes over you again. Under the moon’s energy, you dig more into this uncomfortable feeling and begin to see the layers of codependency within your relationship.

On the surface, this codependency masks as closeness, but upon further examination, you realize the unhealthy entanglement has seeped into your subconscious. Your subconscious knows your mom's unconscious self doesn’t want you to be all you can be. Why? Because her unconscious self feels threatened. If you shine too brightly, you may abandon her. Subconsciously, you know this to be true and therefore dim your light. This subtle energy in your subconscious is a block to your abundance, peace, and prosperity.

In this case, the Gemini’s full moon energy is inviting you to release your idea of what it means to be a “good” daughter in order to make space for the shadow of your relationship with your mom to be brought to the light. This shadow may reveal that you are a brat, an ungrateful child, and self-centered. These traits are all offensive to your conscious self, but are necessary to combat your mom’s unconscious self and be able to shine your brightest light. Only by bringing all of this to the light, will you - and consequently your mom- be able to start to do the work of integrating your Lilith and returning to your true self.

Radical self-acceptance is the core of returning to your true self and the key to unlocking your path of true financial freedom. This is the work needed to un-become what society brainwashed you to be, so you can experience life as a rich woman.
